Laptop Cooling Pad how good are they
Laptops or notebooks are very popular these days due to their portability and convenience, laptops made today are far more powerful that some desktops, the only small problem they have is they need plenty of ventilation to prevent overheating, and if your using your laptop on a uneven surface like a bed as such, over heating is common, a overheating laptop will affect its performance, this can lead to system problems or failure.
There is an answer though a laptop cooling pad is a external answer to the problem of over heating, Why does the laptop overheat, CPUS, video cards, hard drives, they all use power and create heat, so the heat needs to go somewhere, because the laptop is very compact all the electronic parts are all cramped inside a small box, these all need cooling somehow, they are great for keeping your legs warm in the winter months, all computers have a limit on how much heat they can handle, and stay operational, all laptops have simple basic cooling fans, due to compact builds in laptops, it is not practical to perform modifications, like desktops systems are very easy to modify and add extra fans or a water cooling system etc, laptops have limitations and once a temperature rises to much, the system will fail and shut it self down to prevent any damage.

For a long time now people have tried to come with a way to cool down their laptops, well now there is such a thing its called a laptop cooling pad, they can reduce the temp of most lap tops by 20%, all you need to do is simply place the lap top cooling pad onto the laptop, they connect via a USB cord or they might run on batteries.
There is a few different types of laptop cooling pads, some use fans, or fluid circulation much like a radiator in a car, or the lap top cooling pad may contain crystallines material, this turns into a gel like substance when heat is pass through it, when it cools down the gel turns back into a solid substance, the gel when activated with heat rapidly cools down, the fan system uses many smaller fans which use side vented passages, this allows better air flow around the laptop and better cooling for your system.
Computer water cooling how does it work
Why water cooling, well these days computers run very hot, they must be
cooled, many people want to overclock there CPU, when you over clock them, they will get even hotter requiring even more cooling, water cooling or liquid cooling in place dissipates heat much better than air cooling.
- Installation of a water cooled system, if you have built computers before or you have installed hardware into a computer before then installing the system is not that hard, you can buy kits for most computers some brands to consider would be Thermaltake, Koolance, Zalman and others to think of just make sure you get the right system for your CPU (Central Processing Unit) and Video Card prices range from $180 – $500
- A good thing about a PC water cooled system is they are much quieter as you don’t need any noisy fans they can be taken out of the computer, much less dust as the fans wont be sucking it into your PC computer, instead of running at hot temperatures your computer will be happy and cool, running CPU hungry games and such you will also be able to overclock your system quite a bit although be careful not to go overboard.
- How does it work ? it is rather simple how it works water is pumped through the water pump which is mounted to the base of the system then the water is piped through to the water block that is mounted onto the CPU then through to anther water block which is mounted to the video card then all the water is forced into the cooling radiator that cools the water down, it goes down to the water pump again to repeat the process.
